Nude patent brogue court shoes from Miss Selfridge

Let’s get this week’s installment of “Shoes I Want from Miss Selfridge” over and done with, shall we?

This week, the dastardly Miss S have placed these nude patent brogue court shoes in the line of temptation. Yes, they’re fairly plain, compared to some of the shoes I feature here, but that’s all part of their charm, and I think these are the kind of shoes you’d be able to wear over and over again, with everything from workwear to jeans. I like the fact that they’ve added some subtle brogue detailing to the classic nude pumps: I suspect we’re going to see a lot of plain, nude patent pumps this winter, but not all of them will have a little something extra to set them apart. These ones do, however, and if you want to snap them up, they’re just £38 at Miss Selfridge.

  • The heel may be a little too high, but the rest screams “Old woman’s shoe” loud and clear as it’s orthopedic beige and frumpy in design. No thanks, not for me.

  • Based on what you post here, I (or should I say, my husband) is damn glad there is no Miss Selfridge in Australia. My credit card couldn’t take it.
