From the side, a fairly ordinary looking black pump, albeit one with a hidden platform, and some kind of detail on the heel that you can’t quite see.
From the back, though:
Not so ordinary after all. I love the chain detail on the heel of these Brian Atwood pumps: it’s interesting, unusual, a bit sexy, too. I don’t, however, think the heel is enough to make me want to spend $1,050 on a shoe that, from the front, looks a lot like something you’d wear to the office.
Of course, that could just be me. What does everyone else think of these?
I think they’re very sexy – I’d love to have them, but of course, paying that much is not something I can comfortably do! 😛
FANTASTIC!!!!!
I don’t base shoe purchase on heel height alone. Even as I shoe lover I do like to take break from high heels and just go for flat or kitten heel every now and again.
The detailing at the back is just unique.
I don’t think anyone was saying they do base purchases on heel height alone? Or am I misunderstanding?
No, you didn’t say that, it was just because of this sentence:
“I don’t, however, think the heel is enough to make me want to spend $1,050 on a shoe that, from the front, looks a lot like something you’d wear to the office.”
But I understood the point, it’s that the whole shoe is not worth the price, when the front part looks so normal, even with a beautiful heel… and even thought a beautiful design, very plain… but you know what? I would buy it because of the heel!
I’m not sure even the chain is worth that much money.
Totally right, the shoe looks like worth $150…
But as I don’t like to be unfair, I still wanted to add that I loved them! (I’m thinking of doing that heel myself… DIY…)
