Alejandro Ingelmo, $795
Like the pointed toe, d’orsay cut pumps have been making a comeback this season, and I think these ones by Alejandro Ingelmo are one of the best of bunch.
The coral suede uppers on these makes them a great, summery shade, but it’s the cut out section on the heel, and the contrasting silver next to it, that really makes them something special. With a 4.25″ stiletto heel, these are sophisticated, and slightly dangerous looking, with that long toe and “sharp” feel. There’s something just a little bit 80s about these shoes, though, and that’s my only reservation about them: well, that and the fact that they’d be close to $1000 once I added on the tax that comes with importing shoes (or anything else) from the US. Even without that extra cost, these aren’t versatile enough for me to want to pay that much for them, but I do enjoy looking at them all the same.
What do you think?
At least in the photo this seems like it’s pale enough to be a neutral (almost nude-adjacent), but still different enough to be interesting and summery. I’m on board!
They are extremely pretty but extremely expensive.
one word – SIGH!!!
