comic book wedges Peep toe cartoon wedges by Angeline Tournier

The lovely ladies over at Domestic Sluttery drew my attention to these comic book wedges by Angeline Tournier and, being a comic-book style superhero myself, I thought I really ought to show them to you.

This is one of two different styles, both featuring comic-print on the heels, and they’re also available with various different colours of upper, although I think this bright red is probably my favourite. They’re definitely eye-catching, and they’ll also give you something to read if you ever find yourself having to wait for a train or something, although you’ll have to be pretty flexible to read them while you’re still wearing them, obviously.

They’re £175 and you can get them here.

Cute! I just wish that the peep toe wasn’t so big.
I have wide feet (I’ve been a dancer for most of my life), so whenever the peep toe on a shoe is large it shows off my not-so-attractive-toes quite well, I’m afraid.
But otherwise I would snap up a pair! ;]

They’re cute in a retro way and I am an Archie comic books junkie, so they appeal. But it’s not the sort of thing you can wear to work, is it. At least not where I work, the fascists. I’m glad to have seen these though.

Unlike Alix, I prefer a bigger peep toe, cause smaller peeps chafe my feet rather horribly. I love these!

These shoes with that “bag pretending to be a magazine” on Fashion Police, and your outfit is complete!

Nope, too chunky and retro but not in a good way. I’ll pass.

These shoes are SO hot. I love when I see unexpected patterns on a shoe. My husband being the comic book freak that his is would die if he saw me in these. I just might have to splurge…
