Zara opens online store today, Shoeperwoman rejoices

Today is a great day for me, and a terrible one for Shoeperman, it being the day that Zara finally starts selling its clothes and shoes online!

Zara is one of my favourite stores, and I rarely visit one of their stores without finding at least one pair of shoes I want to buy, but there isn’t a branch in my town, which means I only ever shop there occasionally. (In fact, I most often shop at Zara when I’m in Spain or the US, which is actually quite bizarre, now I come to think of it …) As of today, however, the brand’s new transactional website allows you to shop from the clothing, shoe and accessory ranges, with shipping available to the UK, Spain, Portugal, Italy, France and Germany: sorry, rest-of-the-world, hopefully they’ll start shipping to you soon!

I’ve already had a good look through the site, and while the clothes have left me a little uninspired, I’m pretty sure I’m not going to be able to get through the winter without these:

I spent so much time last winter searching for a pair of brown, over-the-knee boots, and these look almost exactly like the ones I had dreamt-up in my head.

Now I just have to scare up £99 from somewhere…
