As 2014 draws to a close, here are my personal top 10 shoes of the year!
By far the most viewed and pinned shoe on the site this year, and it’s not hard to see why: the Shoe of the Year has to be Christian Louboutin’s ‘Hot Chick’!
A gold glitter upper with a cheeky red bow: a high street hero from Kurt Geiger!
As I said in my original post on these, if I ever got to design my own shoes, these are more-or-less what they’d look like. I love the polka dots, the bows, the shape… I love everything, basically. Except the price.
Not just one of my favourite shoes of the year, but quite possibly one of my favourite shoes of all time: check out those curves!
I blogged about these back in January (and bought a pair a few days later), so they just make it into the 2014 list. They’ve now been released in a few other colours, but this heart print version is the one that has my, er, heart.
It’s very unusual for me to deem a pair of flats to be Shoe Kryptonite, but these little Boden flats are so pretty they definitely deserve their place in the top ten.
This is another shoe that was rarely out of the “most popular” section of the site this year. I wasn’t able to find a retail source for these shoes, which is probably a good thing – they’d be pretty hard to resist!
I never could resist a shoe with a stripe. Or ANYTHING with a stripe.
Heart details on shoes are another big weakness of mine. In fact, I guess you could say I ‘heart’ them. Geddit?
I loved these so much I bought them in blue AND black. Well, it would’ve been rude not to…
And those are my Top Ten shoes of 2014! Just to re-iterate, this is a purely personal list, pulled together just for fun. I’m sure your list will be different, and I’d love to hear what’s on it. What was your favourite shoe of the past year?
