Shoes for Small Feet: Zara polka dot bow ballet flats

I’ve titled this post “shoes for small feet”, but before we go any further, I’m just going to come clean: they’re from the children’s section. Yes, I know.

Hear me out, though: these go up to a UK size 5, and having purchased shoes (And, OK, clothes) from the kids’ section before, I’ve personally found that a child’s size 4 is pretty much the same as an adult’s size 4. I can’t confirm if this is also the case for other sizes, but I know women who wear a size 3 or smaller can really struggle to find cute shoes that fit, and while these certainly have a youthful feel, with the polka dot bow, the tan and black colour scheme is all grown-up, and honestly? No one will even be able to tell the difference.

I really like these shoes, mostly because the colours are so neutral that I can see myself getting a lot of wear out of them. Apologies for those of you who wear a five or up, though: I promise I’ll try to find some shoes for you soon! (And if you have any suggestions on where to look for them, they’d be very welcome!)

  • My tiny feet (size 6 US, Size 4? UK) and I thank you. It’s a bear to find shoes for my size that aren’t twee, skanky, cheaply built, or overpriced. Most of the time, even the kids section is distasteful.
