Look, I’m alive! And actually doing a Shoe Challenge!
And, OK, it’s just a crappy “standing in front of my shoe shelves” challenge, and this was literally the ONLY photo that wasn’t blurry. But when you consider that this time last week I wasn’t even wearing shoes (or makeup, or clothes that weren’t jeans and whichever ancient sweater came to hand), I figured it still counts. It’ll have to, really, because as Denise pointed out earlier this week, we’ve now passed 100 days of the Shoe Challenge, and sadly for me, I’m lagging waaaay behind, so I’m starting to get a bit worried about how I’m going to save all of those shoes! (I guess not buying new ones would be a good start there, but, well…)
These shoes are by Charlotte Russe, and they’re a few years old now, but I still get a lot of use out of them. I figured they looked a bit business-like, somehow, with the little jacket, hence the title of the post. And although they were super-cheap, I really like looking down at the little bows!Β As for the jacket, well, it is technically a “jacket”, but the short sleeves render it pretty useless as outerwear, especially with the cold weather we’ve been having lately, so I just treat it like any other top – and throw a trench coat over the top when I’m going outside in it!
Aaaaand I think that’s it, for what has to be the shortest Shoe Challenge in Shoeperwoman history. It really does look like I’ll be having to take a LOT of shoes with me on holiday next week if I want to save all the summery ones before the summer ends!
Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!
Wow, thank you! You look gorgeous as always and I simply loved the shoes – I love tweed, bows and by the way, they don’t look super cheap, like you said! And a photo in front of the shoe shelves couldn’t be better – after all, it’s THE Shoeper Shoe Challenge! I loved the hair style and the bow – and I’m sure you’ll save all the shoes you have, so, don’t pack many – buy more, why not? Have a great weekend!
I loved the whole outfit! I moved to a mall town in FL and now I don’t have Charlotte Russe close by anymore. I use to like the outlet version better than the official one. I don’t feel comfortable buying shoes on line. I always think I need to try them on the get the right size.
Yey, good to see you back. I adore the way you do your hair!
Not only are you alive, you look amazing π I am unspeakably jealous of your gorgeous bag! And as said above, I love how you do your hair.
Oh happy days. I can remember the day you bought those shoes. Love you.
You’ve probably already seen or featured these, but if you haven’t, look! Green, bow, polka dots = thought of you: http://www.zara.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product/uk/en/zara-S2011/61159/387257/POLKA%2BDOT%2BWEDGE
Sorry, what were you saying about not buying more shoes?…
Green and Polka dots?! I don’t know if Amber will manage to resist them π
I’ve missed your shoe challenges, Amber!
You look great, as usual π
omga I love your hair!!! The bow is sooo adorable π
yeay for getting back on track with the Shoe Challenge posts π
I love when you’re standing in front of your shoe shelves in your photos! It’s been a long time since we last saw them.
Your “business” outfit is great, with all those cute bows and beautiful shoes. I love your bun too (cute little bow again!) π
I always enjoy seeing your shoe shelves, so feel free to take all your photos there π
Love the bow in your hair π
