This week’s Wish List was another long one, but I’ve managed to whittle it down to just three pieces! As the sale stock starts to clear out, making way for new season goodness, my favourite stores are once again filled to bursting with amazing clothes. Luckily there’s not too much autumn/winter stuff, either: the shorts and bikinis may be gone, and the first crop of winter coats are starting to appear, but there are still plenty of pieces to wear now, or wear later. My favourites for this week include:
In one of my favourite colours of the year, this baby blue Dorothy Perkins dress almost went straight into my basket as soon as it appeared on the site this week. As well as the lovely colour, I also love the full, flared skirt and embellished collar: the neoprene/scuba fabric, meanwhile, is my favourite thing to wear right now, because it doesn’t crease easily, meaning that your outfit looks (almost) as good at the end of the day as it did when you put it on. Speaking of neoprene, and also from Dorothy Perkins:
This skirt is basically a checklist of things I like: the full shape, the scuba fabric, the midi-length hem, the green print… It most appeals to me, however, because it looks like the kind of thing I’d be able to wear now, with bare legs and one of my favourite bardot tops, and later, with tights, boots and a warm sweater.
Although I have tons of dresses, skirts and trousers, my wardrobe is sadly lacking in tops – or in interesting ones, anyway. I tend to reply very much on plain t-shirts and cardigans, and while there’s nothing wrong with that, I often find myself wishing I had a few more interesting pieces to wear with things like trousers and jeans. Enter Oasis’s polka dot ‘Mia’ sweater: a fun print, and a little bow at the neckline, make this super-cute – bonus points for the wrist-length sleeves, which will make it suitable for the cooler weather, too.
And that’s it for this week’s Wish List. What’s on yours?
