(Shoes and playsuit, both Matalan. Hat, Topshop.)
Confession: these photos were actually taken last week, but how about I promise to wear the same outfit again today, and we’ll call it quits?
President Obama says that’s fine with him:
He also asks that no one mention his eerie resemblance to the George Bush figure the Hall Of Presidents used to have sitting outside, and which I suspect may have had some cosmetic surgery to turn it into Obama. Moving on…
Next to the Hall of Presidents is the Citrus Tower, which has views all over central Florida:
It’s not actually all that high, but it still terrified me, because I’m scared of anything higher than a 5″ heel:
I know it looks like I’m just posing for the camera here, but I spent a lot of time with my back pressed to the centre of the tower, convinced it was falling over. Yes, I’m pathetic. Apparently my shoeper powers stop working at a certain altitude…
Afterwards, we took a walk around the town of Mount Dora:
If only ALL Ruby Shoesdays could be as much fun…
I’m so jealous of how you always manage to look so immaculately beautiful; I adore your figure so much! It’s bound to have been said before, but you could easily be a model, especially for more artistic work! Love the outfit as always too, those canvas pumps seem to be serving you well! 🙂
Oh, thank you – *blushes* 🙂
And yes, those shoes were one of the best £12 I ever spent – I’ve had so many people ask me where I got them this past week!
Fantastic! What I really admire about you, and your blog, is that you prove something I’ve always maintained; you don’t have to be super rich to look good! I’ve mentioned before how I believe simplicity is the key to the best fashion. If you know how to work the colours and shapes of clothes, and get them to compliment the colours and shapes of your body, then it doesn’t matter if you are wearing a £10 outfit or a £1000 outfit as you will still look great! 😀
Oh, totally – and I get just as much pleasure out of the cheaper outfit as I would out of the designer option, too: it’s all about knowing what suits you, and what you like!
Lovely!!! The picture with the bicycle is my favorite!
.-= Janelle´s last blog ..OMG!!! Slacker!! =-.
I really wanted to steal that bicycle – it was so cute!
It’s always important to get Presidential approval for your shoes. I’m living my holiday life vicariously through you, as it’s cold and wet in Melbourne today.
