SHOES: Zara toecap court shoes

WITH: Zara pants; D&G shirt (ancient); Primark scarf; Marc by Marc Jacobs bag & Michael Kors watch (both c/o Shopbop)
Some of you may recall me saying a few months ago that if these shoes ever ended up in the Zara sale, I’d probably buy a pair. Well, to make a long story short (and trust me, it’s a very long story, because these were part of the order Zara decided to duplicate: and which I’m still waiting on a refund for…), they did, and I did. And I’m really glad I did, too, because I’ve now fully embraced pointed toes back into my life, and I’ve already worn these a few times, even although I’ve only had them for a couple of weeks: the tan and black combination is definitely one of my favourites!
Anyway, as I write this, my internet connection is constantly dropping out for minutes at a time, so I’m going to keep the words to a minimum and just hope it stays up for long enough for me to finish the post at all.
Just four more pairs to go!

Well, technically five, because my replacement Lady Dragons are currently en route, but as it stands, just four! (And I’m probably going to cheat and not include the Lady D’s!)
Those shoes are fun. I like the chunky heel paired with the pointed toe more than I expected. But… I just adore that bag! It is gorgeous!
I liked the whole outfit as usual, and the shoes too; as I thought I started liking pointed toes again, I even considered trying a pair on today… (sales here!)

Oh, I meant to say this last time you mentioned your Zara issue, but totally forgot – did you try contacting your credit card? Sometimes you can get them to do a chargeback if the goods are faulty/not fit for their purpose etc: it’s not something I know a huge amount about, but might be worth giving them a call?
I’m not sure of what I think of these shoes, they’re quite strange to me!

i went down to zara a couple of weeks ago and tried those shoes on (yes, i went directly after seeing your post on them)
they were veryyyy uncomfortable. in fact, all zara shoes seem to be very poorly made with regards to insole comfort and all.
dont you find them uncomfy?

I saw a similar pair of shoes recently but I can’t remember where… and thought to myself I must try them on. I won’t be able to style them as well as you though.
Saw these at Zara and I almost yelled out “SHOEPERWOMAN” in the store 😛 hehehe
