Shortly after this photo was taken, a caped Shoeperhero swept down, stole Renee Zellweger’s shoes and disappeared into the night. The caped crusader was wearing a green dress and red wedges. WHO COULD IT HAVE BEEN?
OK, OK: I wouldn’t actually steal shoes, but I do love these. They’re Christian Louboutin’s Pigalle Plato 120 pumps, and they’re £445 at Net-a-Porter.
This is actually one of the only shoe shots I managed to get from last night’s MET Gala (one of my favourite fashion events of the year), because all of those long gowns once again obscured the shoes. And this is why God made midi dresses, people, take note!

W-o-w, that’s an incredible dress! And incredible shoes! This time, at least, we see an actress who wasn’t wearing shoes two sizes bigger, but I must say… the contrary… Didn’t her toes look like squeezed there? Anyway, gorgeous!
