Poetic Licence ‘Carousel’ boots in red and sandstone

One of the items on my winter Wish List this year says simply “boots that aren’t black”. I have far too many pairs of black boots as it is (and yet I still keep contemplating more: why?), and I’d love to expand into some brighter colours, which is why Poetic Licence’s red ‘Carousel’ boots instantly caught my attention. As well as the colour, I also like the leather/suede mix, and the folded detail on the vamp, and although it’s not exactly “bright”, I think the sandstone version shown on the left of the image above is also rather lovely – and very versatile, too.
