I’ve been craving orange shoes for a while now, so as soon as these chunky platform sandals popped up on the Miss Selfridge website last week, I had to take a closer look. These come in a bright, vibrant orange, which manages to be striking without being too garish, perhaps because of the mix of textures provided by the suede platform/heel and the patent upper. They also successfully managed NOT to make the word “Halloween” pop into my mind, which is always a good sign when it comes to shoes, I find. (Unless it actually IS Halloween, obviously, in which case all bets are off.)
These are £45, and the chunky heel should make them relatively easy to walk in, too. If you want to put that theory to the test, however, you can click here to buy a pair.
They’re so summery!
I’m soo happy spring starts fashion-wise much earlir than calendar-wise))
Me too, I’m so sick of looking at boots now!
I agree — these would be lovely for summer, and my collection is also lacking anything orange. I have yet to find the right orange pair in person though.
thank’s for the tips!!!
Oooh I like these a lot!
Well if you’ve ever stepped over to my blog you’ll know my love for my orange stilettos. However the desire wasn’t so much for any old pair of orange heels or I’d have bought one of the zillion pairs of fluoro orange heels I found (yeugh!). A good looking pair of orange heels will always make a statement 🙂
Those are amazing!!
