Another red, white and blue beauty from Christian Louboutin: and OK, the red is only on the soles, but the soles are such an integral part of any Louboutin heels that it’s a good job they work so well with the colours on the upper, creating the perfect nautically-inspired summer sandal.

These shoes have an alternating blue and white colour scheme, with seven slim straps stretching across the foot. (Don’t worry, there’s a zip at the back of the heel, so you can get them on and off easily!). There’s also a four inch stiletto heel, which is actually a little shorter than it looks in the photo, so it should be (comparatively) easy to balance on.

The blue and white upper gives these sandals a really fresh, summery feel to them: they’d make a wonderful finishing touch to a simple pair of blue (or white) jeans and t-shirt, and they’d also look fabulous with one of the many white sundresses or midi skirts that are around right now. They may look like they belong on board a luxury yacht in some sun-drenched marina, but I’m sure I could find a way to wear them right here in the UK, if I just had the chance!
