Jasper Conran pumps, £52
The J by Jasper Conran collection is a line that doesn’t get nearly enough attention here at ShoeperWoman.com. Not only are the price points very affordable (especially compared to some other high street brands), every time I decide to have a browse through the shoes on offer, I always seem to find something I love.
Today, that something came in the form of these black and white satin pumps, which feature a beautiful bow on the heel. That sentence alone is probably more than enough to tell you why I’m so keen on these, but just in case you’re still in the dark, all you need to do is take another look at that heel. The black and white stripes are very much on trend this season, it’s true, but I’d like them even if they weren’t, and a bow on a heel is pretty much guaranteed to win the shoeper seal of approval.
These shoes have satin uppers, and a 4.25″ stiletto heel, and although the monochrome colour scheme gives them a bit of trend appeal right now, I think they’re classic enough to stand the test of time: or a few good parties, at the very least.
They are lovely. I don’t believe I have any satin shoes in my collection.
