I’m kicking off this week’s Shoeper Shoesday shoe roundup in a very predictable fashion:
J CREW CHARLOTTE GINGHAM SANDALS
If you’ve spotted these on your shopping travels, I’m sure you’ll be unsurprised to see them pop up here. I’ve talked at length about my obsession with all things gingham, and these cute little gingham sandals also have a bow: done deal, as far as I’m concerned. Finally, the green/navy mix used here is a little bit unusual but a whole lot of fun: love ’em.
J CREW FLORAL APPLIQUÉD SANDALS
I actually hadn’t this roundup to consist entirely of J Crew shoes: it was only when I started to write it that I realised most of the shoes I’d bookmarked this week were from there, so I decided just to go with it. I do love a bit of J Crew in general, but the currently collection is a particularly shoeper one as far as I’m concerned, and these bright yellow sandals are at the top of my list. Funnily enough, I probably wouldn’t (actually, make that *definitely* wouldn’t…) wear this colour in anything else – and I don’t think I’d wear closed-toe pumps in this colour, either. Somehow on these, though, it’s the perfect choice, and I think they’d look equally good with jeans or a sundress.
J CREW BLUE EMBELLISHED SANDALS
With a similar embellishment to the yellow sandals above, these bright blue ones have a low, blocky heel, and a thick ankle strap. This colour is one I find tricky to wear in shoes for some reason, but I do love to look at it!
Thanks to my newfound love of flats, these are almost as attractive to me right now as the heels on this list. I always feel that you can get away with daytime glitter far easier with a pair of flats than you can with heels, so I’d wear these with jeans, and allow them to bring a bit of sparkle to even the dullest of days and outfits.
