Christian Louboutin ‘Pina’ spike heeled sandals, £661
I’m partial to a bit of spikiness on an otherwise ladylike shoe, and Christian Louboutin’s ‘Pina’ sandals are pure perfection in that respect.
A black patent upper, paired with a gold stiletto heel, topped with THOSE spikes: it’s a real dream of a shoe, and although many people consider spikes to be something only ever worn by the edgier dressers amongst us, I think these shoes would make them seem a whole lot easier to wear. The gold and black colour mix is a classic evening look, and although these would still have been beautiful had the heel been plain black (or even plain gold), I think the spikes give them an extra lift, which makes them all the more special.
These have a 5″ stiletto heel, a low vamp, and a padded insole, which I’m sure you’ll be grateful for after a few hours on those heels. Will it be worth it, though? Oh, I definitely think so…
Stay tuned for the Shoeper Shoe Challenge roundup, which will be coming up soon. While you’re waiting, here’s some weekend reading for you…
