You REALLY wouldn’t want to get on the wrong side of these, would you? And you probably wouldn’t want to try to board an aircraft in them, either: it’s bad enough when they confiscate your tweezers, or some other small item you’ve forgotten to remove from your makeup bag – just imagine how you’d feel when airport security took away your $1595 Louboutins!
These are called ‘Asteroid’, and while the reaction among my readers generally isn’t very positive towards shoes with such extreme spikes, I had to show you them anyway, because they’re just so fabulous. In a possibly-painful kind of way, of course.
What do you think? I reckon I’m much too clumsy to be able to wear these without causing serious damage to someone/thing, but if you think you can limit the damage to your credit card, you can click here to buy a pair.
I’m usually a big fan of Louboutins AND studs, especially combined (hello spiked Pigalle!), but these just remind me of those dinosaurs with the horn…
Oh, but I love them. Completely and utterly!
The best kicking shoe – EVER! And cute too 🙂
I’ve been drooling over the Vince Camuto “Jamma” for a while now. These… I like the shoe, I like the spikes, but it looks like the spikes were an afterthought thrown on to make the shoe OMGTRENDY.
I love them! They’re amazing. But, yes I think I’m too clumsy to wear them around someone else. I think that the first thing I will scratch with the spikes, are the other shoe. I always do this! I usually scratch one of the shoes, with the zippers from the other one. :/
I quite like the Asteroid so I was saddened that my size was sold out in pre-orders and that the online boutique only has the cork version.
And I don’t want the Kryptonite version because it’s only 140mm versus the Asteroid’s 160mm
wow, this is a great gun

I am never about the spikes but for some reason I love these.
Just GORGEOUS! And no-one would mess with you when you were wearing these babies would they??
I wouldn’t use these for my defense, I think I would take more care defending them from everyone who would be curious to see if they can really hurt. “Don’t touch the spikes! Mind the spikes! Don’t stand to close to me, these are LOUBOUTINES!” ))
In short, may I have a pair?
