I think ‘Flowerboing’ is going to be my Word of the Week. Flowerboing. It’s great, isn’t it? I am a little confused by it, though: I mean, obviously I can see where the “flower” part comes from, but the “boing”? Is it because the ankle strap looks like a spring? I have no idea, and I suspect I’ve probably spent too long thinking about it, so let’s look at the shoes, shall we?
These shoes are actually hard NOT to look at. They have more flowers on them than I’ve ever seen on a piece of footwear, and that’s a couple of dozen flowers too many for me, although I might change my mind if I were to see them on a foot. These are super-expensive at $1,195, but it does look like a lot of work has gone into creating them. Does that justify the price, do you think? If so, get them at Bergdorf Goodman.
It’s obvious: the season (at least in where the designer lives and in the UK) is Spring = boing! And Spring is when all those flowers keep bursting out everywhere – like on unsuspecting pairs of sandals… 😉
I think the name is cute. The shoe, I’m not so sure about. I need to see them on a foot.

I love these.
OMG … those are completely gorgeous. *cries* why don’t I have that kind of money to spend on shoes? They are my dream shoes!
I think they are lovely, too! If I go without food for about 2 years, maybe I could buy them!
I like the flowers but I think the straps up the legs are overkill.
