D&G black butterfly sandals

I don’t normally go in for insects on my feet – or anywhere else, for that matter – but I’m willing to make an exception for these D&G sandals, because insects just don’t get much prettier  than this:

I really like the way D&G have resisted going for a super-colourful colour scheme with these sandals: it would have been very easy to use the butterfly embellishment as an excuse for a lot of bright colours, and while that might have worked, I think this black and silver upper is a lot more dramatic, and a little more classic into the bargain.
