BODEN MARA SWISHY STRIPE DRESS
This little yellow number is new in at Boden, and also available in two other colours. I think this bright yellow makes a nice change from the usual black and white, however, and it’s such a fresh colour for spring and summer!
KAREN MILLEN BOW DETAIL STRIPE DRESS
For something a little fancier, meanwhile, this Karen Millen dress has a strapless bodice, embellished with a cute little bow. This one would be perfect for those of you who have a wedding to attend this summer: just throw a cardi or shrug over your shoulders for the ceremony, and then take it off again when you’re ready to dance!
WAREHOUSE STRIPE PROM DRESS
I make no apologies for featuring this dress for the second time in the space of just a few weeks: it’s quite simply the nicest stripe prom dress I’ve seen in recent years, and it has a real “Kate Spade” vibe about it, although at a slightly lower price-point. Again, I think this would look lovely with a cute cardi and a colourful pair of shoes – and I’m STILL doing my best to resist buying it!
ASOS STRIPE PROM DRESS
When I first came across this dress, I thought it was only available in the ASOS ‘Tall’ range – which I was gutted about, because at 5’4″ I’m nowhere near ‘tall’! As it turns out, though, it’s also available in regular, so I’m having to sit on my hands to stop myself buying it: I’m starting to think this post was a bad idea, to be completely honest…
DOROTHY PERKINS NAVY STRIPE BARDOT DRESS
Finally, for a slightly more laid-back look, this jersey dress from Dorothy Perkins would be so easy to just throw on with a denim jacket for a cute, causal look: and it’s currently on sale for £15, too!
O that asos dress. I’ve been restraining myself too. But now I want it even more!
