M&Co nautical print tea dress, £39
M&Co is another brand I don’t often check out, but when I came across this dress, it prompted me to take a closer look. I can’t actually remember where I first saw this now, but I do know I was instantly smitten with the cute, nautical-inspired print.
Judging by the photo, I think the hem may be a little longer than even I normally go for (some of the reviews on the site say this seems tobe designed with tall people in mind, which is a shame), but other than that, it’s a really cute summer dress, at a very affordable price, and in a print which is sure to attract comments. Oh, and if you’re not keen on the dress, the print also comes on a matching top.
Also from M&CO comes this floral print prom skirt:
I know we’ve seen a lot of floral print skirts and dresses lately (I’d say you won’t be seeing too many more of them, but we all know that would be a lie…), but the grey and orange colour mix on this one is quite unusual, and works much better than I’d have imagined.
Sticking with the floral theme, I also like this little top, which is £29, and just the thing to wear with jeans or shorts for a casual, but not too causal look:
Finally, I’m sure you all know by now how much I love a good boat-necked sweater:
This one comes in yellow and pink as well as this green shade, and will look fabulous with capri pants and flats for a classic, casual look. The elbow-length sleeves do mean that it’ll only be suitable for warmer weather, unfortunately, but as it’s only £16, I think I can forgive it!
Your Dress of the Day posts are like sweet treats for me.
I actually adore that nautical dress!
