Dolce & Gabbana embellished brocade Mary Jane pumps, £930
It’s a very heavily-embellished kind of season over at Dolce & Gabbana right now, isn’t it? Wait a minute, what am I saying? It’s ALWAYS a heavily-embellished kind of season at D&G: they do love their brocades, and their tapestry-work, and, in this case, their sequins, pearls and gold leaf embellishment. All of this sits on top of the pointed toe of a black Mary Jane, with a curvy heel which looks right out of a fairytale. It’s a whole lot of look, but I think the colours save it from being OTT: what do you think?
