Lovers of chunky platforms, take note: the latest Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony shoe collection has been designed as if with you in mind:
Well, OK, it’s actually been designed with Chloe Sevigny in mind, as it’s her line. Chloe’s style tends to polarize people, and I suspect this collection probably will too: it very much buys into that “clunky” aesthetic that’s been so prevalent (especially in fashion blogging circles) over the last few seasons: think Jeffrey Campbell, Jessica Simpson’s ‘Dany’ etc, with their larger-than-life looks.
What do you think of these shoes, and of the look in general, though? Love it? Hate it? Somewhere in between?

I don’t like this kind of shoes..too chunky. The first and the same last one are similar to a pair of sandals avaiable on Miss Selfridge e-shop! (I love the MS version!)

The lace up boots remind me of her character on Big Love. Is she designing costumes for the show now?
Strangely, Chloe Sevigny’s style is usually a huge turn off for me, but I quite like the black shoes in this collection.
No no no, and no to Chloe Sevigny’s “style”.
