Bronze glitter platform heels and ballet flats from Miss Selfridge

Time for your daily dose of glitter, readers…

This time I’m not even going to apologise for bringing you even more of the shiny stuff, because of all of the many, many pairs of glitter-covered shoes we’ve looked at so far, these are the only ones I can actually imagine buying. (I love Kurt Geiger’s ‘Jasmine’, but I don’t love the £100 price tag: I’m  more likely to pay that kind of price for shoes I know I’ll wear all the time, rather than ones I’ll only wear on special occasions) I’m drawn to these mostly by the fact that the glitter has been done fairly subtly: each piece is of a uniform size and shape, and rather than that slightly bumpy, “I totally just glued this on myself!” look you can get with glitter shoes, it forms a totally even surface, so the effect is one of shine and texture, without tackiness.

The more I look at these, the more I start to convince myself to add them to my Shoe Wish List, so before that happens, lets just take a quick look at their little sisters:

Same upper, but on a ballet flat, which isn’t quite as stunning, but probably more wearable, as you could throw them on with a pair of jeans for a more casual look.

The flats are £22, and the heels are £50: click here to order them from Miss Selfridge.
