Boden added some new shoes to their website lately, and top of my list are these beautiful bow heels, which come in either plain black leather, or this bronze glitter. It’s not often you see this colour on an evening shoe, and while I’m struggling a little to work out exactly what I’d wear with these, it’s a gorgeous shade, and makes a nice change from the usual suspects (silver, gold and black), so I’m totally on board with it.
These shoes have a cut-out heel, which isn’t too high, a pointed toe, and, of course, a cute little bow at the ankle. The black leather option, while still fairly dressy, could probably work during the day as well as in the evening, if you want a little more versatility from your purchase.
Here are some other items I’ve been admiring on the Boden website (and for “admiring” read “struggling not to buy…”):
I have the plain cream version of this cardigan, which was released during the summer, and it’s such a useful addition to any vaguely retro-inspired wardrobe, looking great with basically any type of skirt, trouser or pair of jeans. The sparkle version comes in three colours – pink, gold and silver – and I want all three of them. Particularly the pink, though. No, the gold! No, the… yeah, I’ll definitely be needing all three.
Caroline Coatigan, £139
Also from the knitwear section is this Caroline coatigan, which comes in camel, red and black. I’ve been on the lookout for something like this for ages now, particularly for travel: I think this would be the perfect thing to wear on the plane, as it’s warm and stylish, but still soft enough to not feel bulky and uncomfortable when you’re sitting around it in. This will also look fantastic with a pair of jeans and a pair of tall boots: I’m just hoping for a discount code, times to coincide with my next pay day!
