ASOS Live pointed toe ballet flats, £18
It’s around this time every year that I start to think about replenishing my stock of ballet flats. This style doesn’t get much use from me during the winter (other than around the house), because I’m not very keen on wearing them with socks/tights, but in spring they come into their own, and are worn with everything from jeans and cropped pants to dresses and skirts.
The problem with this, however, is that flat shoes tend to wear out quickly for me, so I’m always in need of new stock. I much prefer pointed-toe flats, which I find a little more sophisticated and “grown up” than their round-toed sisters, so I was really happy to find these ‘Live’ pumps at ASOS, which come in a range of different uppers. All of my favourites are here: there’s a red pair, a nude pair, a black pair, a metallic pair – there’s even a cute little polka dot pair, seen in the centre of the image above. These are all cute, (hopefully) comfortable, and the kind of shoes I personally find indispensable, so they seem like a good buy for just £18. See the rest of the available colours here.

I have never gotten into point toe flats, but I could be convinced by those polka dot ones.
