ASOS Annabelle Leather Soft Hiker Ankle Boots

I never thought I’d see the day when I’d actually LIKE the look of footwear described as “hiking boots”, but I don’t just like these: I love them!

Of course, the only real “hiking” element here is the metal hooks used to hold the laces: the rest of the boot is as un-like a hiking shoe as it’s possible to be, and these actually remind me very much of Christian Louboutin’s ‘Fifre’ ankle boots from last season, which probably helps explain why I like them so much!
