When it comes to boots, I just can’t go past Aldo. I mean, their shoes are great all year round, but it’s in winter the brand really comes into its own: I bought a gorgeous pair of camel knee boots at the end of the last winter sale, which I’m really looking forward to wearing this year (I know it’s odd for me to be looking forward to ANYTHING about winter, but it was already spring when they arrived, so I didn’t get a chance to wear them!), and, thanks to one quick look at the website last week, I now have all of these ankle boots on my winter wish list, too…
My biggest issue with ankle boots is the fact that the ankles themselves tend to be fairly wide, which has the effect of making my ankles look like sticks, and my feet look twice the size they actually are. Because of this, I’m on a permanent hunt for boots that hug the ankle, creating a more streamlined look, and I think I might have found the perfect solution in these ‘Angnes’ boots, which come in nude suede, black leather and a lovely bordeaux suede. My biggest issue here is which shade to go for: I know both the black and nude versions would work really well with my wardrobe, but I love both of them – decisions, decisions!
If the high stiletto heel on those ones aren’t quite for you, however, this one – while still high – is slightly lower, and also a little chunkier, which should make them feel easier to walk in. I actually find heeled boots one of the most comfortable styles to wear, though – they provide much more support to the foot than shoes do, which makes them easy to wear all day, even when the heel is fairy high. These are also a little more causal than the ones above: er, three pairs of boots wouldn’t be TOO much for one season… would they?
Nice collection..I much like camel knee boots..I was also bought Clara Block Heels from The Iconic..It was great experience for me..
