One part of me loves these shoes for their two-tone upper (and in two of my favourite “tones”, too!), the t-bar fastening, and just for being a relatively simple shoe that manages to look totally unique.
The other part of me, well, hates them, and really doesn’t think they look like an $800 shoe.
I’ve no idea which part will win. Tell me how YOU feel about them instead?
(Or just click here to buy them from Shopbop – they’re $850 and by 3.1 Phillip Lim)
They’re a very clunky shape. I’d have to try them on, but my initial reaction is do not like!
PS Go Team Amber

Mmmhhh… although I like two tones and T-bar shoes… this time I have to say I didn’t exactly like them… I could wear, let’s say, but they wouldn’t be my first choice. There are more beautiful two tone-shoes than these ones… in my opinion.
I’d like to see them on a foot so I would definitely try them on, but I agree that they don’t look like $800 shoes!
I don’t really like the different materials, although I like the colour combination. I’d love to see a bit more of a curve to the underside, it’s looking a little chunky.
I feel exactly the same as you! I saw the post on facebook initially so didn’t read what you had written straight away but you just wrote exactly what I was thinking!
Btw… I love the little Rubin in the corner in the pink shoes!
I’m fall in looove *_*
Nope, I don’t like them. The black part is awful.
If the black part wasn’t so wonky, they would be lovely.
The black part looks bad. It ruins a cute shoe.
I so was going to feature these on my blog as weird shoes and trends. I kinda like them, just not in this color. The way the shoe looks on an actual foot looks so different and makes it likable.
