Carrie Bradshaw may be famous for her Manolos (although she later defected to Louboutin), but Sarah Jessica Parker wore neither for her appearance on Letterman last night, choosing these blue Nicholas Kirkwood platforms instead.
Just in case the shoes weren’t “statement” enough, SJP paired them with a short sequined animal print dress, toning it all down with a white blazer over the top. Take a look under the jump to see the full outfit, and don’t forget to tell me what you think!
I think that SJP almost always looks great and this is no exception, she has a real talent for clashing… I do think, however, she could do with a few pies, she’s looking terribly thin.

Oh I love the whole look, those shoes are a fab colour! Im slightly bias in that I would be a fan of hers anyway

The shoes are… just wow. Awesome. The blazer and dress, not so much- they’re not in the least ordinary, but next to the shoes they look so!
I love the shoes, even if – looking at her toes – they don’t seem to be comfortable at all.
But do gourgeous shoes have to be comfortable??
She has to stop wearing such short dresses – her knees are not her best feature
