I normally wouldn’t give a second look to a pair of shoes with a product description stating they had a “transparent PVC upper”, but I made an exception for The Master, and I’m pleasantly surprised by what I find. The shape of these Engin 120 studded pumps is absolutely gorgeous, and while I’m still not totally convinced by the PVC, I think this is one of the (very) few instances where it could work: in fact, I think that on a foot, these could be stunning, with the combination of nude patent leather and transparent vamp giving them a barely-there look, and the studs creating a bit of character.
