These shoes sold out almost instantly at Net-a-Porter (sorry if the sight of them just got your hope up, there), which surprises me slightly, because in addition to the fact that they cost £365, they’re not the kind of shoes I would expect to have widespread appeal.
With that said, these are one of Miu Miu’s most talked-about styles of the season, which possibly explains the high demand. With navy blue uppers and a white sparrow print, they have a breezy, Spring style to them, which will fit in seamlessly with all of the nautical style clothes around right now (and not just in my closet, either!). I’m not sure how I feel about them: at first glance I wasn’t at all keen, but I suspect they might be the kind of shoes I’d covet if I were to see them in real life.
I’m really curious to know what everyone else thinks of these, so tell me: would you wear them? If so, you’ll have to keep checking back at Net-a-Porter in the hope that they’ll get more stock in soon!
I think they are fabulous, would most certainly wear these heels. But will never be able to afford the Net-a-Porter prices, hoping the high street isnt far behind!

I like them, but would love them if the heel was a little more delicate. The print is beautiful.
I love mary janes and I love the print but the bulky heel ruins it for me. I prefer my heels more dainty.
The heel just ruined this for me, Mary Janes are my favorite style and I’m really liking the sparrow designs from Mui Mui. But that heel is just so fulgur! gah 🙁

Oh, sparrows! and navy! spring!
huge chunky heels?!
oh… not for me…
Totally agree! Not for me.
i love them! so much! they would work to add a little bit of a smiole to any outfit. (is it just me, or do chunky heels always leave you with a sort of funny smile?) it makes shoes look like they’re not taking themselves too seriously.
So that’s what you’re supposed to wear with that stupid cat shirt…
haha, exactly what i thought
They remind me of a pair of shoes I had circa 1995. I like everything except the heel. It is just too blocky.
Love the shape, love the heel, love the buckle-hate the print.
I love these! Chunky heel and all. It’s one of my weaknesses, sparrows. Polkadots is the other, if anyone was wondering.
the print is uncannily & nearly identical to one biba used on dresses at least thirty five years ago.
Honestly, I love these shoes. I would buy them NOW if I could! I see comments saying that the heel ruined the shoes for them, but I love the heel- it’s big, chunky, knows exactly where it stands and doesn’t play the flirtatious little games of the teeny weeny little thin heels. Super-cool!
I totally agree with Biba comment I had a pair in black and white too. 1974 what a year!!! They were the love of my life. So many years later….so many knee problems!!!
