Shoe Deja Vu: Matalan take inspiration from Christian Louboutin’s Dillian pumps

christian louboutin knock o Shoe Deja Vu: Matalan take inspiration from Christian Louboutins Dillian pumpsAh ha! I KNEW I should be recognising those orange Matalan pumps from somewhere when I tried them on this weekend! All I can say is that the colour must have blinded me, because it was staring me in the face the whole time:  the colour may be different, but these are definitely dead ringers for Christian Louboutin’s ‘Dillian’ pumps, aren’t they?

(I’m assuming Matalan were inspired by Louboutin, anyway, and not the other way around…)

If Matalan are going to make their versions of The Master’s designs, all I can say is I wish they’d gone for something other than this one, but if you fancy a pair of Louboutin look-a-likes, at least the price is a little more budget -friendly: the Louboutins retail for $2,875, the Matalan versions for, er, £18.

  1. Did Britney wear these in some video?

  2. These are possibly the most hideous-wonderful shoes I’ve ever seen. So taken was I with them that I left my desk this afternoon, travelled to Matalan and purchased the last pair in the shop – IN MY SIZE. It was surely meant to be. Thank you!

  3. Louboutin did orange too… albeit a slightly less orange orange. http://www.geekshoes.com/christain-louboutin/feminine-and-sassy-christian-louboutin-dillian-flower-pumps

    I like ‘em.

  4. Asos have a great snake print goldy metallic copy!
