Ted Baker ‘Mayter’ bow court shoes, £100, ASOS

One of the things I love most about Ted Baker is this brand’s ability to create shoes with amazing embellishments on the toe. The Keanah peep toes (which I bought in two colours, I liked them so much!) are a good example of this: yes, it’s “just” a bow on the toe, but it’s a bow unlike any other, with a really stunning shape which you just can’t stop staring at when you wear them.

As much as I love ‘Keanah’, though, I think I might love ‘Mayter’ even more. This is a closed-toe pump, with the most amazing, fan-like detail on the toe:

They’re all kinds of awesome, aren’t they? If ever there was a shoe that could be said to have “wow” factor, these would be it, and I honestly can’t decide which upper I like best: the all-out glitter, or the more elegant satin.
