First up: the Kelsi Dagger YSL dupes I wrote about back in November are now available at Sarenza, which is good news for UK-based fans of this brand.
That’s not what this post is about, though. No, what I really want to talk about is this:
3.75? 6.25? I think this is the first time I’ve ever seen shoes available here in the UK in size increments other than the rarely-seen .5, and wow, but I hope this kind of thing continues! Sure, it’s not quite perfect – these aren’t available in sizes smaller than 3.5 or larger than 6.5, which is a shame, but imagine if more brands offered .5 or .25s as well as full and half sizes: how much easier it would be to get the perfect fit!
Hats off to Kelsi Dagger: let’s hope this is the way forward for footwear!

I’m a big fan of the half sizes, not too sure if we really need quarter sizes? I can imagine people just getting confused?
As nice as it would be to have quarter-sizes, I don’t think it’ll catch on. After all most of the shoe industry is geared toward the mass market, and everything that is being made has to be economically reasonable.
After all, each size means different patterns, which means additional effort (= costs) for the company. Will there be enough customers for that?
This will never happen in Australia because nobody cares about us down here. Loving the blue shoes though.
