Stripe Shoes, £49.99
I know you all probably thought I’d be bored of writing about stripe shoes by now, but you would be wrong about that. Actually, I don’t think I’ll EVER get bored of stripe shoes, and it’s a good thing too, because as we head into summer, the nautical vibe is slowly starting to make itself felt across many of my favourite websites.
One of those sites is Sarenza, who’re currently stocking these Tamaris peep toes for the very reasonable price of £49.99. With their bold, black and white stripes, they’re a great fit for this year’s monochrome trend, but the red bow and heel also gives them that nautical feel I mentioned above, and makes them more classic than trendy. The heel on these is around 3.7″. and there’s also a small covered platform, so these should be a fairly comfortable addition to your wardrobe, too.
So: cute, comfortable, affordable AND stripey. It doesn’t really get much better than that, does it?
(OK, it does: I personally wish the heel was higher. And if it was, I’d be buying them rather than sitting here writing a blog post about them. But we can’t have everything, and once again, I have to say it’s good to see some cute shoes that AREN’T super-high: God knows there aren’t nearly enough of them out there!)
