I’m a huge fan of Kate Spade handbags in general, and the 2 Park Ave ‘Beau’ style in particular: in fact, I own two of these bags myself, so when I was challenged to style one of these three different ways, I couldn’t wait to get started!
This bag is the 2 Park Ave ‘Beau’bag in coral, which is a great colour for spring, and incredibly versatile: in fact, you can wear coral in all the same ways you can wear red, but as it’s a slightly subtler colour, it can be that little bit easier to pull off. It also works really well with pastels, which is good news, considering that the stores are full of them right now.
My challenge was to style the bag in three different ways, so here’s my first look:
skirt // shoes // top // sunglasses // nail polish // belt
If you like to match your bag to your shoes then you’re in luck, because there are no end of coral coloured shoes around right now. For this outfit, however, I’ve tried not to make it TOO matchy-matchy, and the shoes (which are currently sold-out online, although you may be able to track them down either in-store or on eBay…) have just a hint of coral at the heel, to tie the look together. I think navy and red/coral is always a great combination, but if you’re unsure about how to combine two colours in an outfit, finding an accessory (in this case, the shoes) which contains both of them is a really easy way to do it.
jeans // top // jacket // shoes // watch
It’s not often you see me include a pair of sneakers in an outfit here, but I wanted to create a really comfortable, casual outfit for a hard day’s shopping, and sneakers are very much in-fashion right now, so here they are! Although this bag is fairly “dressy”, I think it can easily work as part of a more casual look, too.
Finally, a little bit of floral print for a dressed-up summer day! This dress is actually on its way to me as I write this, so I had lots of fun putting this look together: again, the colour of the bag is picked up in the dress, which also contains the pale pink of the shoes and cardigan.
The bag is $298.50 at JomaShop, and you can buy it here.
I adore that second look (and that dress from the third outfit
I woud just say “stuff it” and use the bag every single day! I do like the last outfit a lot.
I was thinking to buy the DP floral dress too as the length was right but the flowers looked too large. I hope to you see you wearing it soon.
