Menbur ‘Inyo’ pink satin peep toes, £55.50

The last pair of Menbur shoes I showed you were already sold out, but these ones were still available in my size when I found them (They still are, but in very limited numbers, so if you like them, you probably don’t want to take too long to make up your mind!), which made April’s Sarenza Brand Ambassador pick a very easy choice indeed!

I’ll be honest: I broke one of my shoe-buying rules here, and ordered these without having a single clue where I’ll wear them. It’s not that they’ll be difficult to match – that pale pink upper is very close to skin-toned on me, so these are true “go with everything” shoes. The combination of glitter bow/platform, plus satin upper, however, also makes them feel like “special occasion” shoes, though, and with no such occasions on the horizons, I guess I’ll just have to make one up. Either that or find a way to dress these down ever so slightly, which I’m sure will be perfectly possible. Even if it isn’t, these were just too pretty for me to pass up, so like I said, it wasn’t a tough decision.

For me, the thing that really stands out about Menbur shoes is the value for money. These are just £55, which is comparatively inexpensive, but they really don’t look it. They’re beautifully made, and the kind of quality I’d normally associate with much higher price points. They’re also super-glamorous, and the kind of shoes that will effortlessly steal the show, whatever you wear them with, I’m sure. They also feel fairly comfortable to wear (or as comfortable as a 12cm heel can ever be, anyway: there’s also that glittery platform to balance it out, though!), and the fit is true to size: I ordered my usual UK4, and haven’t had any issues with them, although I haven’t had the chance to properly put them to the test yet. Hopefully I’ll find an excuse to wear them soon: in the meantime, you can find them on the Sarenza website, if you fancy a pair of your own!
