As regular readers will know, there are a few things that are almost guaranteed to make me like a pair of shoes.  One of those things is a giant bow on the toe. Another is a tasteful cream (or beige, I’m not fussy. Well, I AM fussy, but not in the cream/beige respect) two-tone upper. These Sergio Rossi sandals combine both of those elements, so naturally, I love ’em. And equally naturally, I can’t have ’em, because they’re by Sergio Rossi, which means the price is going to be in that “If you have to ask, you can’t afford it,” range.  Ah, well, such is life.

If you do have a spare $995 hiding down the back of the sofa, however, then I don’t think you’d be disappointed with these. (I also think you must have a really big sofa, but that’s beside the point right now, isn’t it?) No, they’re not exactly the kind of thing I’d consider an “investment” shoe: you know, the kind of thing it’s worth spending a bit extra on, because you know you’re going to wear them often enough to get the cost-per-wear down to almost nothing. For one thing, they’re cream suede, and that’s never going to be the easiest to keep clean, regardless of how well you look after them. For another, they’re very much “special occasion” shoes, and most of us don’t have THAT many special occasions lined up in the space of the average year, do they?

Despite all of that, however, these are so pretty I let out an audible gasp when they appeared on my screen. I think they’d probably look even better in real life, and here’s one way you could consider wearing them:
