Here’s yet another example of that rather unlikely, but very “now”, combination of suede and raffia. These shoes are by Ravel, and combine a raffia platform and vamp with an intricate suede upper which buckles at the slingback heel.
When I glanced at the thumbnail photo of these shoes, I instantly liked them, but I must admit, the discovery that the upper is raffia always puts me off a shoe slightly, mostly because I can’t imagine wearing them and NOT managing to destroy – or at least stain – them somehow.
What do you think of suede and raffia shoes? If you like them, these ones are also available in pink, and are currently reduced to £56 at Debenhams: click here to buy them.
With the current weather in the UK, these shoes are a definite no,no.
I like raffia, I like suede, what I dont like is the much lighter (in color and feel) bottom than top part of the body of the shoe. I wish they were somehow flipped
I LOVE them! The colours and materials are great!
Do love the suede, and the colours. Do NOT love the raffia.
