Office ‘Sheriff’ pumpkin suede pointed-toe pumps, £70
Western-influenced footwear was pretty popular towards the end of last year (Or at least, there was a lot of it around, anyway. I didn’t actually see anyone wear it in real life, so I’m not sure how much of a real-life trend it was, but it was certainly one which shoe designers tried to convince us to take up), and if these ‘Sheriff’ pumps from Office are any indication, that look is going to be around for at least a little while longer.
These vaguely remind me of the Alexander McQueen ‘flame’ pumps which I showed you last year, although they have a pumpkin suede upper, rather than a leather one, and aren’t nearly close enough in style to count as Shoe Deja Vu. I like the fact that these give a hearty nod to the Western look without looking like they belong at a line dance, but the fact that I’ve never been a big fan of this kind of style in the first place means I haven’t really been able to warm to many of the variations I’ve seen of it.
What do you think of these, and of Western styles in general?

Not a huge fan of western styles, but loving the pumpkin colour!
