(Before I get started with this post, I just want to make it clear that when use the word “nude” in relation to footwear, I’m referring to the shade commonly described as “nude”. I understand that shade isn’t going to be “nude” on everyone, or even on most of us – in fact, most of the time, it’s not nude on me, either! – so this isn’t intended to be a Top Ten of shoes that will match every skin colour, purely a collection of my own favourite shoes in this particular colour.)
I write about nude shoes fairly often here, so it wouldn’t take a genius to work out that I’m rather fond of them. And with good reason, I think: they’re the ultimate neutral (unlike black or metallics, they really do work with absolutely everything), if you manage to find the perfect shade then they’ll have a magic, leg-lengthening effect, and there’s also something very polished about them which I love.
Rather than tell you more of what you already know, however, let’s just get on with looking at some pretty shoes, kicking off with my absolute favourites: Christian Louboutin’s ‘Relika’ platforms, above. And, in no particular order:

I’ve yet to find my perfect nude stilettos. I have a cute pair of wedges but I long to discover a real pair of leg lengtheners. I’ve tried most of the above on, apart the ASOS Polly’s…. I feel an ASOS order coming on x
Ooh, I hope you post photos if you get them, I’d love to know what the colour’s like in real life: I’m currently torn between these and the Aldo ones (although I tried on the Dotty P versions last month and they were much nicer in person than they look in the photo – sold out online, though, unfortunately).
Love the Zara ones, and of course I adore the Louboutins. Nice list! When is the top ten in pink coming? :p

I actually saw those Choos in Saks a few months ago, and my mother almost had to drag me away from them: they’re absolutely perfect!

Ahem. Those Zara bow peep toes are also delicious. How many pairs of nude shoes is it legitimate to have?

I LOVE the Loubs and KG! My local Tesco had a very similar pair as the ASOS/Aldo when I went in a few weeks ago for £10! Must check to see if they still have them!
They are all wonderful and I probably need MORE nude shoes; I only have two pairs.
