Nina ‘Electra’ peep-toe d’orsay pumps with bow

These shoes are available in no less than 11 different colours, so if you’re not keen on green, it’s well worth visiting the Nina website to see the rest of the range (I’m quite keen on the bright blue version, but every one’s a winner, to be honest). There are, of course, no prizes for guessing why I like these shoes: if I had to find fault with them, I’d probably say I could live without the ankle strap (I could almost always say that about ankle straps), but I could live with it, too, and it’s delicate enough not to draw too much attention to the ankle area.

So: gorgeous green colour, cute little bow, slender stiletto – what’s not to like? These are $92.95 and you can buy a pair here.

  • Shame the website’s US only – I can see a lot of people finding it offers a good solution to the problem of having to buy formal/satin shoes.

  • Did anyone else click the “Design your own” button on that site? You can get them in different heel heights and colour combinations, with contrasting bows and heels and soles. You can even add rhinestones. It can make some seriously tacky shoes, but I had fun playing with it.

Also, beautiful shoes. I love D’Orsay and ankle straps.
