I mentioned last week that I seem to be acquiring shoes faster than I can save them at the moment: this isn’t totally my fault, though – my Shoe Challenge has been made a little more difficult this month by the lovely people at Idealo.co.uk, who very kindly allowed me to try out another pair of shoes – this time the KG by Kurt Geiger ‘Kiki’ pumps.
I declared these to be Shoe Kryptonite back when they came out, and my mind hasn’t changed now that I’ve been able to try them in person. These have a lovely satin upper (which is less shiny in real life than it looks here – it was a dark, wintry day, so I had to use the flash!), a pink, cone-shaped heel, and, of course, that fabulous polka dot upper, topped with little pink bows:
The heel on these is 5.11″, so they’re pretty high, but the perilous heels are balanced out by the very girlie, slightly kitsch uppers, I think.
I ordered these in my usual size, and they fit perfectly. The platform also means they’re more comfortable to wear than that heel would suggest!
These are currently down to £59 in the Kurt Geiger sale, but are sold out online in everything except a size 36, so you may need to take a look in-store, or hit up eBay, if you really want a pair!
Nowadays I consider all things Kurt Geiger to be shoe kryptonite, my bank account isn’t happy but at least my feet are. 🙂 Just ordered a new pair of KG’s, had a hard time saying no to the Minnie2’s. I keep hoping they’ll go on sale soon, I’m stalking them!
They’d be perfect for the upcoming Holidays! 🙂
Why did I think you already have this pair? Might have confused itwith a Shoe Kryptonite post. You KG collection is getting pretty big!
oooh i want these soo badly, i have spent weeks trying to track some down 🙁
They are really cute! I like them!
Positively adore them and can’t wait to see what you pair them with!
