Miss Selfridge ‘Daley’ coral bow-back flats, £22
(Yes, I’m making up for my recent neglect of Miss Selfridge by featuring lot of their shoes at the same time. Don’t worry, I’ll run out of shoes soon. Probably.)
Although I’ve definitely come to appreciate flat shoes a whole lot more than I used to in recent years, it’s still unusual for me to come across a pair which instantly makes me go, “WANT”. That was the word that sprung into my mind when I saw these ‘Daley’ flats, though, and it’s remained there ever since, so I guess these might just be one of the few pairs of flats to make it onto my Shoeper Wishlist this summer.
The reasons for that are probably obvious to anyone who knows me: the pointed toe is elegant, the bow on the heel is cute (And has anyone else noticed that heel bows seem to be popping up everywhere recently?), and the coral colour is very sweet, and will also be very easy to pair with all those summer colours. I particularly like coral with mint or lemon, but this is a pale enough shade of it to almost count as a neutral, so I doubt you’d struggle for outfits to wear with them.
If you would, however, ‘Daley’ is also available in black, and is a snip at £22. Get them here.
For some reason I don’t like slingbacks on flat shoes. No idea why, it just looks wrong to me.
