Miss KG ‘Florrie’ bow sandals, £75
As soon as the image of these shoes finished loading on my screen, I found myself making an involuntary little “awww!” sound, which caused my husband to first of all look round from his own screen enquiringly, and then to turn back to it with the single word, “SHOES”. He knows me so well. (In fairness, it could also have been a photo of a puppy, or any other baby animal. I make that sound when I see those, too…)
Of course, anyone else who knows me even slightly well will know these little peep toes are right up my street. I mean, they’re just adorable, aren’t they? I’ve talked a lot lately about my love of “puffy bows” on shoes (and actually bought some last month, which is why these ones got wish-listed, rather than purchased. If they go on sale, though, all bets are off…), and I also love dots, so this one is a no-brainer for me. I also, however, really like the delicacy of these shoes, with that gauzy upper and black and white colourway: they’d look amazing with a similarly monochrome outfit, but they’d also work well with other colours too, being fairly neutral.
These are by Kurt Geiger’s lower-priced ‘Miss KG’ line, which is why they’re £75, as opposed to the £200+ prices of some of the brand’s other lines. I was really hoping they’d be available in some other colours, too, but unfortunately this is the only option at the moment. I have a feeling these won’t stick around for long, though, so perhaps if they do sell out, the brand will be inspired to make some other options for us: not that these ones aren’t gorgeous enough on their own, mind you! You can never have too many pairs of bow peep toes, though, can you?
They are amazing, really pretty and feminine
