“Oh, look,” I thought when these shoes first appeared on my screen. “Karmaloop must be selling Kurt Geiger shoes now, for surely those are the Echinacea shoes I’ve had my beady little eyes on for weeks now!” Then I looked closer and realised that, whoops, no, these are actually by Kelsi Dagger, although, like the Kurt Geiger shoes, these also come with a detachable bow, which is designed to be worn on any part of the foot you wish.
These are available in black, as well as the pink and red versions shown above, and they’re a little cheaper than the Kurt Geigers, at $100. Click here to buy them.
I really thought these were part of the Kurt Geiger range too!
I love them in Pink!
I have one pair of Kelsi Daggers and I adore them. These violate my usually-strict “no-bow” rule but… I love them!
I do think these are lovely, but I wish that shoe designers would do a ‘tall girl’ alternative. Not that I don’t think tall girls should wear heels, we most definitely should, but I would just feel they were more wearable without the platform… Am I getting old? Or maybe that’s just an unexplored niche in the market, like the Topshop tall range, but in shoes!
I think the bow looks a little weird.
