Now, I know I’m late to the party here, but remember back in April, when Kate Middleton married Prince William, and we all spent weeks – OK, minutes – wondering what her wedding shoes looked like? Well here they are!
These were custom made by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, and they’re not actually the reason for this post. No, here’s the real reason for this post:
They’re Kate Middleton and Prince William dolls. They’re… a little bit creepy, to be completely honest. (I’m not a big fan of dolls, although I wouldn’t say no to a Louboutin Barbie…)
Never mind them, though: take a look at what the Kate doll is wearing on her feet:
Tiny little Aruna Seth shoes, designed especially for the doll!
These aren’t, of course, replicas of what the real Kate wore on her wedding day, but to be absolutely honest with you? I think they’re prettier, although not as pretty as these:
They’re called ‘Cerise‘, and they’re £695, which means that the Kate doll, complete with replica shoes, is a whole lot cheaper, at £49.99. It’s a available from Hamley’s, should you want to get yourself one.
I prefer her actual shoes. The dolls are just plain freaky. Creepy as.
Love Aruna Seth!! Especially the tiffany blue butterfly heels!!
I like her actual shoes better, too 🙂 By the way, I heard that you can buy the Kate doll on her own, but not the Wills doll. LOL 😀
Relatable Style
The dolls are strange… I got a previous doll (to remember the moment…) in April, and she’s the same as here, only for £39 and wearing her engagement blue dress, by Issa London. But they look happy together, as dolls too! Both shoes are beautiful!
Those dolls are SCARY
Those dolls are going to be in my nightmares tonight.
lol… same here.. i hate human like dolls sometimes… :))
Not sure the doll shoes really do look like the Aruna Seth ones.
The doll’s shoes have sling backs and a glittery heel…
Although they certainly don’t look like the actual shoes Kate wore…
And yes you can buy the Kate doll on it;s own but not the Wills one..

I like the shoes she wore. Simple and elegant.
Judging from the expression on his face, the prince will certainly bite your finger off when he has a chance.
The last shoes are the most pretty of them all!
